You don't have to do anything. They usually shed really fast and eat the skin. Make sure you have a moist hide on the warm side to assist with shedding, especially toes! See www.drgecko.com for more ideas.

This was my big worry when I got my first Leo...but it really is no big deal. Most likely you wont even see them do it. But... there are a few things they will need in they tank before they do. Make sure you have the dry hide and the wet hide. The wet hide should be on the warm side of the tank and have some kind of moss or coconut bedding inside it, spray water into every few days to make sure it stays humid. Also, this is not just for shedding, but they need there calcium bowl (a small bowl (you can use a small 2 liter soda bottle lid) full of the pure calcium powder. When they shed they need all the extra stuff a few days before because they are developing the new skin. They shed every 2-3 months so just keep an eye on there feet and tail. If you notice ANY skin that is not coming off you need to give them a warm bath for about 20 Min's. at that point it should come off. I have had never had any problem besides that and that was only the first time he shed. It will be fine. Hope I helped.

Leave them to it. The whole process should usually take no longer than an hour at the most. They will eat their shedding. Provide a nice moist hide this can be filled with wet moss or potting soil etc. These are used to make shedding easier for the little guys. After he's shed just make sure to check that no skin is left around toes and fingers. As this can cause digits to fall off if left.
He'll be okay :]

If you never see your Leo drink don’t worry because they seldomly do. Leos actually get %92 percent of their water by asorbing through their skin since they do this it is important for you to mist their cage. Misty their cage also aids in the shedding process.
To help with the stuck shed(which is very important to get off as it can cut the circulation from their toes) you can give him a warm(upper 80s) bath which will help loosen the stuck on shed. You can take a wet Q tip and gently massage the areas. If that still doesn't work, you can apply a tiny bit of Vaseline to the toes and rub it in. It may take all of the above treatments..but it will come off.

Yes, let them do all the work. However, you can assist them in some ways but never try pulling the dead skin off of it. Make sure it has a moist place to go (damp paper towel or wet moss) so the shed can go much easier, if your leo starts grabbing it owns dead skin and eating it don't be alarmed! They tend to do this often, most time it would appear to you that they would be eating it but actaully being stored in it's mouth temperaily until the skin is all the way off of it's designated area it chose.
