My pet snake is being very territorial, earlier today he slithered over to my comic collection, and fell asleep on them, and now he is awake, he hisses at me and looks aggressive every time I go near the comics. What do I do?

As you probably know, snakes are most aggressive just after they've eaten and it's best to keep them in their vivariums at this time. If he has just eaten then leave him a while and he should calm down enough for you to move him back into his vivarium. Also he may well cool down unless your room is as warm as his vivarium. Cooling down will make him more docile too.
Is his vivarium comfortable enough for him? Do you keep it warm enough? Is there somewhere cosy for him to lay in there? Maybe your snake is trying to tell you something? Have a good look at the vivarium. Is it good enough for him?

Some snakes can be dangerous. If your snake is harmless then maybe your pet is thinking that he wants to sleep on your books because they're comfortable for him. He thinks that you are going to throw them away. Ask a vet if you're not sure.

Who's the pet & who's the owner? Pick him up & put him back in his pen. He shouldn't be running around loose anyway, it's too easy to escape or get hurt.

Can't blame him. He thinks you're going to take away his nice cozy bed. How'd you like if someone seemed to be threatening to pull your bed out from under you?

My partners snake gets a little out of control sometimes and I would suggest a cold shower.
