how do you catch a iguana

wild iguanas are pretty easy to sneak up on. I usually use a big beach towell. However, be warned....They will bite the snot out of you, scratch you and whip the hell out of you with their tail.
Also their mouths are full of pretty sharp teeth and bacteria, so most likely a bite that breaks the skin will get a pretty nasty infection.

Is the iguana loose in your yard or something,where you can get to it.Put some food out for bait,then throw a towel over it.Be careful and quiet.

a wild one or a pet one????? very caerfully i would say especially if they are BIG ones because they whip with their tail and believe me that hurts, i used to throw a sheet over mine and wait for them to calm down (same concept as catching crocs) then pick them up in the middle and replace them in the tank

you'd have to go searching in a deep forest or Maybe perhaps a Jungle, bring a net or a cage, stand around in quiet places & wait for one to appear. When you see it, Strike!!!

You don't, if catching wild cought their bite is as bad as a tail whip.
