crimson ear sliders like lettuce, carrots, strawberries, freshwater shrimp (you ought to purchase on the puppy shop). basically feed the shrimp as quickly as each and every week or so, being that they are particularly fatty. sparkling vegetables are large for them to munch on. (Spinach should not be fed often in spite of the shown fact that.) make optimistic that your turtle pellets have sufficient calcium and protein in them. A puppy aquatic turtle's nutrients habitual is perhaps the main complicated accountability of the owner. good success! :)

Diet should be at least 65-85% meat
consisting of commercial turtle food, trout chow, beef heart, cooked chicken, fish live or
fresh caught (not frozen). Meat should be dusted once a week with a good herp vitamin
containing D3. Dark green leafy vegetables can be used to fill the rest of the diet. avoid iceburg, romaine, and butter lettuce. try out kale, collard, turnip, dandelion greens...

it needs to eat a variety of things. Pellets are good, you can also feed it fruit and veggies, but what I feed mine are goldfish or guppies. This gives them exercise that they don't get with pellets, fruits or veggies.

My family has one and it eats pellets and sometimes feeder fish. We also feed it frozen beef heart on occasion. All of these foods can be bought at the pet store.

yes you can feed it pellets for its main diet. red ear sliders also love to eat goldfish, lettuce, and other veggies that are finely chopped if not they can choke. i wouldn't recommend feeding them goldfish for their main diet but a little taste every now and then wouldn't hurt.

Pellets are good to answer your question but this link will help you give your turtle a more variety in its diet.
