I have a 4 yr old ball python & a baby red eared slider turtle. I already have a large terrarium for my snake and a small 10 gal for my turtle.
I would like to get a larger terrarium for my red eared slider, but i would also like to save space by combinding the 2. I know that my snake would probably pay no mind to the turtle, but I am worried that the turtle would snap at my snake.
I have looked at some terrariums that have both land and water. I was wondering if there are any possible problems that I will run into if I was to have them together?
If there is a safe method for them to coexist, I would like a suggestion of were to find the appropriate terrarium.
Please & Thank You!!!!!!!

My anole got this bump on her her jaw. Its a little squishy but its kinda like a big ball. A person at my local petstore gave me some calcium for her because she tought it might be from not enough calcium. That didn't work. So she gave me some antibiotics for her. I've been giving them to her for a 2 weeks & the bump doesn't look any better. So now she's decided to try & drain it out & if its to hard to drain out she was going to make a slit & let it drain its self out. Does any one know what this bump could be??? Or if the petstore person is doing the right thing by draining the bump??? Could my Anole die???
PLEASE SHE IS GOING TO DRAIN IT TOMORROW!!!

I live in Thailand and last weekend while clearing brush on my property i uncovered three snakes. They were all about2.5-3 feet long and bluish gray in color. Their heads were not triangular and they had an interesting sort of iridescence when they passed through a patch of sunlight. I have two little kids so I want to know if they are dangerous or not. Thanks for your help.

i just recently received a very thin leopard gecko, i saw it and knew right away is was not good. but i felt i could help it because i have experience raising them. so far it has not been eating. it is so thin i can see pretty much everything when it breathes and it has flaps of skin where it should have fat. he also has two disabled arms, the two front ones, how can i help him.

Okay, seriously, I did do research on leopard geckos before i bought one, lol. Anyway, my gecko seems fine at the moment, however I dont think he has eaten for 4 days. Is this normal? And I wanted to know how long it takes before they are "tamed". I am currently holding Larry (my gecko) and letting him crawl on me daily, so how long do you think it will take for him to get used to me?

I have a RES and a Guatemalan slider and they spend all of their time in the water. I have a rock in the aquarium with a light on it but they never go on it. I've tried adjusting the height of the light so the rock would be different temperatures but they still dont like it. Ive even picked them up an put them on the rock, one of them stays for a min an then jumps back into the water the other immediatly jumps off.

I find around 2-4 lizards each night up in my patio ceiling.
They look like clear bodies with a yellow tint, and some black in the inside. I can't find any stripes, but there's some black dots on certain parts of the body. Normal black eyes.

They just.. stay there upside down in the same position for 10 minutes then move a little.

Any ideas?
Thanks in advance.

I'm looking for a small sized water turtle, what different types are there? How big does the habitat I provide have to be? Are they easy to care for? Also, are the tanks expensive?

I just got a python from a friend and i do not know if i should feed it now or later in the month. I also want to know how much lighting he should get because he is in a tank that I once kept my iguana in and someone told me that they need a lot less light than an iguana.

Yesterday at about 3pm I walked into my backyard to do some work and I heard a commotion in the grass.I looked over to find 2 rattlers, mating! I ran it the house and watched them through the top portion of the dutch door. They were both between 3 and a half and 4 feet long. I nervously called my BF and he said "watch them, make sure they don't go under the house"ok, well-I agreed to this not knowing that this mating ritual can take quite a while. So, time passes and I think they are done-but they are slightly out of my site being behind a tree trunk.I went pee, and came back to find them about 10 ft apart. One was headed down the canyon. The other was pointed towards the house but slightly towards the same direction the other one went. The phone rang and I went inside to answer it. I came back and I couldn't find the one pointed towards the house. 1) how close do they normally live to where they mate and 2) approximately how old were these guys? PS - these are northern pacific rattlers
