my iguana have a huge outside cage and i went outside and noticed im asumming its becuase our pool is being drianed that theres an invasion of ants and i found a couple crawling on my iguana i brought them inside.will my green iguanas be ok?can ants hurt them at all?please let me know thanks for all answers.

He should be OK since you found him soon enough. Ants can cause a lot of damage to the skin if they bite the Iggy, especially since they tend to swarm over anything they find. Iggys are herbivores--they don't eat insects.

im sure he will be ok with a few. the skin might be a lil thick for the ants, but not too sure on that one. but im sure that he can eat the ants. as long as there isnt a festation of ants i think he will be fine. but keep a look after him just incase and try placeing some traps around his cage to detour the ants from bothering him.

you may not want to do this but you could catch some spiders and relocate them in the general area of the ants. They might run away though....
