I find around 2-4 lizards each night up in my patio ceiling.
They look like clear bodies with a yellow tint, and some black in the inside. I can't find any stripes, but there's some black dots on certain parts of the body. Normal black eyes.

They just.. stay there upside down in the same position for 10 minutes then move a little.

Any ideas?
Thanks in advance.

Maybe a gecko. I had some of those around my back yard, they were clear and about 3-5 inches long.

Here in Florida we have several introduced species of "house gecko" that have gotten here on crazy things like produce shipments and such. I think most of the ones in my area are mediterraneans, but there are also species from the phillipines and places like that. Watch them long enough and you'll see them catching bugs. Sometimes when they go across a window, you can see eggs in female's bellies... they're pretty cool.

Geez! Beardies are endemic to Australia, and leopard geckos to the Pakistan/Afghanistan border...

You probably have anoles, or some local gecko if you live in a southern state

Your best bet is to visit your state's environmental protection or wildlife division webpage, or a local university's herpetology page.
