Okay, seriously, I did do research on leopard geckos before i bought one, lol. Anyway, my gecko seems fine at the moment, however I dont think he has eaten for 4 days. Is this normal? And I wanted to know how long it takes before they are "tamed". I am currently holding Larry (my gecko) and letting him crawl on me daily, so how long do you think it will take for him to get used to me?

Just do a little gentle handling each day. They can become very tame. You might want to just leave him in his tank for a couple of weeks to adjust and get his appetite back before handling, though. Make sure the prey is no bigger than the space between his eyes, especially if he's a baby. They do get stressed easily with new surroundings.

hes most likely scared and he will need gentle handling, and also he will take time before he starts to eat. if he hasnt eaten by the 5th or 6th day bring him to a vet. how do you know he hasnt eaten? he may just be eating when you arent around because he may feel embarrassed. good luck :)
