I have a 4 yr old ball python & a baby red eared slider turtle. I already have a large terrarium for my snake and a small 10 gal for my turtle.
I would like to get a larger terrarium for my red eared slider, but i would also like to save space by combinding the 2. I know that my snake would probably pay no mind to the turtle, but I am worried that the turtle would snap at my snake.
I have looked at some terrariums that have both land and water. I was wondering if there are any possible problems that I will run into if I was to have them together?
If there is a safe method for them to coexist, I would like a suggestion of were to find the appropriate terrarium.
Please & Thank You!!!!!!!

I'm afraid there isn't. The two aren't meant to live together as more than likely the snake will try to eat the turtle and the turtle will snap (and possibly injure) the snake. It's instinct.

Oh that ball is going to have fun suffocating the poor RES!

The answer is no. They can't coexist in a tank

I wouldn't try it.The snake may attempt to swallow the turtle, and get obstructed from the shell, and the turtle may just see the snake's moving tail as a great big worm to grab! Better safe then sorry.Keep them in their own tanks. The little turtle really needs a tank with water and aquatic plants to nibble, and a haul - out area to bask on,like a nice big rock or log,and a UV light for shell development.

I do not recommend co-habitating even same species snake together, to say nothing of different species. Disease can spread from one to the other, and their habitat needs are completely different. Keep them seperated.
