So... I took it out, and it looks like it has a bad scar or cut on its spine, but it also is gonna shed soon. What should I do, It's been awhile.

I found a frog while netting in a small pond under some leaves. It is dark brown( almost black) black stripes on it's legs. Small black spots on its back. White belly with black stripes. Smooth skin. Big eyes. Small frog about the size of my thumb (almost). Long back legs. Can jump far. I would like to know what kind it is. Thanks.

She's extremely overweight...and it is sad to see her unable to fit in the log. We feed her lettuce once a day and keep the cage between 80-95 degrees (I think) I'm just taking care of her now as my brother is away at college, and I am worried.

one other thing is that can he be caged in a 20 Gallon Long tank all his life?

and just one other thing i want to take him to the vet to get sexed to see if he is a boy or a girl does anyone know how much or around how much it costs.. but i generally think its a boy.

I have a pair of fire belly toads in a 29 gallon long aquarium. I have to set up so that they have a land area and a water area. Is there any other animal that I can put into the aquarium with the toads? I was told that i could put a fire belly newt in with them. Also other thatn crickets what else can you feed them?

Im not sure if I should get a male green basilisk or a bearded dragon. Basilisks are really cool looking and unique but I cannot hold them because they are to speedy and jumpy. Bearded dragons dont look as cool but you can hold them and ive heard that you could also play with them. Is it true that a bearded dragon will "play". Which one lives longer? Which one is easier to take care of. which one is more friendly?

I was watching a programme about Cobras and the narrator said "They have very powerful necks." That got me thinking, where does it's neck end. The whole animal looks like a neck. Or just a tail, and there's another thing, how long is it's tail? I'm so confused!
Are they like mamals and their necks are defined as seven vertibrae long? If so, that doesn't clear up the mystery of their tail..
Can anybody shead any light on this one please?
