I ask this,because I have a Slider turtle,and its been 4 weeks since I got it and I don't know if turtles do the bathroom.

Yes they do. That is why you need a filter and that is why you need to clean your filter. By the way, make sure you give the turtle a place to get out of the water and a basking lamp or it could get skin rot and will not be able to properly digest their food and metabolize it.
