Sometimes they get lazy(and smart) and stop doing their job, because it's much easier to just eat from the top when you add food. Don't worry too much about it, if she ever starts acting lethargic or inactive, then be worried.

Very normal. Mine only eats fish food. Get a BABY chinese alge eater if its bothering you. When they get older, they wont eat the alge and are agressive, but as babies they eat like crazy.

Plecos are just big decorations, in my eyes. They dont usually clean the tank... And this is VERY normal.

Well, dont worry about the behavior. All of them do it after a while. Its kind of annoying but it happens.

If it's only going to the top of the tank to eat, it means it likes the other food better than the algae in your tank (they won't eat all kinds of algae!).

If it's going to the top all the time, you should check your water quality (ammonia, nitrite, nitrates, pH, temp).

You should also feed her something besides algae/algae pellets. They eat crustaceans in the wild, so mine gets shrimp pellets and sometimes real shrimp. Some like driftwood to scrape (and hide under).
