medication for red ear turtle eye infection I live in ontario canada?

I have a 12year old red ear turtle and his eyes are swollen shut and one eye has puss in it. I think everything is OK in the tank

It's hard to say what to do without knowing the exact cause. Do you use a dechlorinator for the tank water? Some turtles are sensitive to chlorine in tap water. This could also be a vitamin deficiency (Vitamin A). He could have an infection, but could he have injured the one eye on something in the tank?
