Have been selling Fire Belly Toads for 12 years and have never had one cannibalize another. They are in fact, very social and love the company of as many as you can afford to keep. It is very important to keep the bowl of water clean so they don't get sick. When there are several together, they will hold onto each other and it is very humorous looking. These toads come from Korea. Some people are sensitive to them because they do have a mild toxin on the skin but I very seldom have a customer complain or have to return them. They are very good climbers and escape artists. You will definitely know if one is a male because every night it will make noise. Very important not to have excessive crickets in the cage because the crickets can attack the toad.

I have 4 firebelly toads in an 55 gallon tank. But the biggest one tryed to eat the other 3 who are not much smaller then he is! I wouldn't have more then 2 or 3 and then keep an eye out!
