my friend showed me a picture of a bearded dragon and it was purple...but when i looked on the internet i couldnt find any purple bearded dragon pictures.Do you think he changed the picture to make it look like it was purple?or can they really become purple????

Anyone know where the place, fees? 1st time keep turtles hehehe bought 4mth ago 5 green turtle as a pet now they really big n healthy.I change the water 2 time a day morning/evening, feed them 4 time a day. Every 10pm they all went to sleep.

My turtle was missing for 12 days and when I found it I immediately placed it back in it's clean, filtered tank with a good quality UV lamp. Within 24 hours it resumed it's activity be eating well & basking. The problem is the scales on shell have started to lift from being dried & w/o H2o for such a long time. Should I apply Hydrogine Peroxide & soak it in a sulfer bath before applying a conditioning cream? What would be suggested? What is the recovery time & what will I be looking for that will confirm the suggested treatment is working?

I've just finished reading the Laws on Reptile Licencing in all states and territories in Australia and found so many loop holes to get a Restricted licence from other states and then get a Restricted Licence in your home state without having to do a thing apart from change address twice without moving and even the E.P.A can not do anything about it.

Major Reforms are needed if they can uniform gun laws why don't they uniform Reptile laws?

Hi there, for a start i was wondering what THAW actually means.

My snake has stopped eating normal defrosted mice :( a few people tell me you shouldnt just leave them to defrost and my snake might not like it.

Snake went to bite me the other day, might be hungry, but i am worried about it.

Whats the most appetising way to feed a dead mouse to my snake, from frozen.

Any help is appreciated :)

P.s, snake has not eaten for about 3 - 4 weeks, is this dangerouse?

I read that I have to keep him/her in 5 gallon's of water? This tiny thing? He/she came with a little water and a small plastic aquarium. I want to be able to take care of him/her the right way. Anybody know anything special I have to do? I've mostly always had cat's.

They like to perch on my fence to take in the sun. One dissappeared for a while and i thought it may have been taken by a hawk, but it has since reappeared, and baby ones have appeared too. I am not sure how many there are as i have only found 2 at a time but i know there is at least 3 coz one has a bent tail. How many babies are there usually? Yes they are wild as i live in mid west australia and have had them in every backyard of every house i have lived in.

I was thinking of a bearded dragon, but not to sure...it can't need anymore space than a 40 or 50 gallon tank, one that likes being held, and isnt a spaz, or to jumpy...is there any such reptile?

I have 1 gecko and he is all alone. i would like to get another gecko, but I have read that some geckos fight if they are together. i don't really want to get a female because i dont want them to mate. So I would like to get a male. But I dont know what kind I should get. Mine is a leopard gecko.

I'm thinking about getting a corn snake. I know you should feed mice prekilled, but it doesn't seem right just freezing the mice. What's a more humane method I can use that's non-toxic?

ive been reading up on new tank syndrome and cycling if i have it right amonia is what starts it all..

insted of letting my amonia to peak and then my nitrate and all that crap why cant i just change 30 % of my whater every day so there is no amonia
