hey have done extensive testing on snake repellents and there are none. The best method of keeping your home snake free is proper maintenance. Keep the area around your house well trimmed and cut back. Fill any cracks in your sidewalks or steps or anywhere a snake can fit and retain shelter. If you have wood piled up outside, remove it or stack it on a rack at least a foot off the ground. Keep food items, mice, birds, etc... away from the house.

If you have snakes, it's only because there's things around that snakes like to eat, mice, rats, frogs, fish, etc. Backfill the pond, get rid of all the vegetation in your yard and they'll leave.
Other than that, there is no 100% effective way to get rid of all your snakes, and even that might not get rid of all of them.
My suggestion? Get a field guide to your local snakes and learn what is in your yard. A little knowledge goes a long way, and I'd personally much rather have snakes around than rodents... rodents can carry rabies and other nasty things... the only thing you can get from snakes is salmonella, and that's only if you come in contact with their fecal matter and don't wash your hands before eating, chewing your fingernails, picking your nose or rubbing your eyes... and even then, you more likely would have gotten it from something in your fridge or your countertops not being clean than from the snake.

90 % of all snakes are non poiseness and all are beneficial to man eating vermin.like rats and mice
they also love frogs that is why they come to the pond
if you keep the grass short there is less chance of many going there .snakes are shy amimals and like to hide
if they got wide heads be carefull they are probably vipers and very dangerous
