Try a fuzzy (a 2 week old mouse). Many JCPs won't take pinkies but will take fuzzies no problem. I'm assuming you're feeding frozen thawed like a responsible snake owner, but make sure the fuzzy is warmed up enough. My JCP has never turned down a mouse.

Maybe I have missed something here ... JCP is a snake name or the snakes name ?
Most snakes that are sold commercially eat mice.
Corn snakes, Bull / Gopher / Pine snakes, Pythons / Boas, all eat mice or small birds.
Kingsnakes, racers and the like will eat mice, lizards, small birds or other snakes.
Green snakes mostly crickets or soft grass hoppers and sometimes caterpillars.
Then there are specialized snakes that only eat hard to get items like ant larvae (Blind and thread snakes).
Knowing what your snake is would help a bunch..

I would try to steer clear of feeding lizards and only for one reason. It might end up a very finicky eater and only take lizards and lizards can get to be expensive.
If you have the money to buy lizards, I say go for it. I would still try to give them a balanced diet of rodents and lizards if it will still take both. I know of a few snakes that get gerbils and then won't eat anything else. I would imagine the same could happen with lizards.
Good luck.

Ask a pet shop to make sure. A cricket could be a good starter. Now that it's warming you might catch lizards or frogs. If it refuses a pinkie, maybe it isn't comfortable: is it warm enough? Light enough? Etc.

I would keep trying with the mice-lizards are expensive. Wait at least a week between feeding attempts, any sooner and you will stress the snake out. Also, minimize handling while you are working out the feeding issue.

I would just stick with mice, they won't get any more nutrients out of a lizard then a mouse, so why confuse your snake. But if you want to try there is no reason why you shouldn't

I have a baby rattler and he wouldn't eat pinkies either. I had to go buy the little baby fuzzies at the pet store. There's just something about them liking to "kill" it themselves then eat it. They normally don't like something already dead.
