my friend showed me a picture of a bearded dragon and it was purple...but when i looked on the internet i couldnt find any purple bearded dragon pictures.Do you think he changed the picture to make it look like it was purple?or can they really become purple????

Haha now I've seen some pretty crazy Beardie hybrids in my day but I'm quite sure there hasn't been a successfully purple bearded dragon bred yet. My first thought is that your friend is good with Photoshop and photo alteration; however, there is such a thing as a Snow White bearded dragon, and I've seen some pictures where it has had a bit of a purple tint since it's skin pigment picks up the purple hues around it!

I have a bearded dragon and I have done tons a internet searches in every country, and I have never come across a purple bearded dragon. Maybe it just looks purplish (is it dark or light purple) maybe it's lighting??

Far as morphs I dont believe any true purple morphs exist.
Some beardies can ahve lavender (dark purple) side bars and coloring, mine has some slight lavender sidebars.
It's very possible the photo was photoshopped/tinted with a purple hue or someone decided to use a colored powder to say it was purple. This was done a while back with "blue" beardies.

Yes, its a sign of nutritional related illness. This bearded dragon needs to be taken to a vet or specialist asap.

well i got 3 beared dragons and none of them are purple if they turn purple maybe they are sick or something......
