My last vivarium was bought ready made and sealed but im building my new one from scratch and i have to seal it. do i need any special kind of silicone or will he be ok with anything?

because I have been working double shifts, and haven't been available during the petshop business hours.
I am looking at his tank, and he is outside his little hut, wide awake looking for food..probably starving.

I can't sleep I feel so bad right now! But nothing is open for me to buy anything for him to eat! I have to work 5am until 10pm tomorrow...and I just don't know what to give him.

Help?! Please. =[ What around the house is OK to give a Leopard Gecko? ...if anything?

can i give my turtle iceburg lettuce during the day? i will still feed it everyday its just that i have heard to put lettuce in the tank while im at school. i feed my turtle everyday after school. can i leave lettuce in there just to eat during the day? its just if he gets hungry during the day. the pet shop said u can leave lettuce in there but im just making sure.

I have a turle. Limescale has formed on the sides and the bottom of the tank. even the stones, platform and the turtle its self has been lightly covered in limescale. water conditioners (reptisafe)havent worked... any suggestions?

I have a couple of red-eared slider turtles that like to get face to face and fan each others face with their front feet. I don't know how to tell if they are male or female. They are 6 inches long. Can somebody please tell me what it means? And how to tell if I have boys or girls?

He keeps on putting his head out of the water and I think it means he is hungry but the clerk I bought him from said only 2 tablets a day and by the way he is a baby he is 8 months old so I'm scared of the consequences of not feeding him even more I am in a dillema please help me!!?

He has been shedding for over 6 weeks with just the feet left now. His toes are all shriveled up under the dry skin. He is too small to try and help him get the skin off.

I goght my turtle in florida from a pet shop.It is the same size for 3 years.I keep him in a fish tank .My turtle is the size of a doller coin I feed him turtle food .I'v went to al sorts of pet shops and they said the sspace is too small so I got him another tank,or i should feed it somthing else so i did but he's eating. any suggestions . well thanks any way

Ahhhhh! I have a mouse (or mice-- we aren't sure quite yet... anyway...) in our walls, so we haven't seen it yet--but we have heard it, and i really can't fall asleep at night. "Terminix is coming next Thursday, but i haven't been able to fall asleep the last few nights.... i have a PHOBIA to mice. I have to wear long pants and tall shoes just to walk around the house! HELP! how can i be less scared of mice? I would rather DIE than look at a live mouse! Any Suggestions?

hey. my beardie is supposedly 11 mths old. i got him last august and the pet shop told me he was around four months when i got him.he is only 10 and 1/2inch long. he has always ate well. i feed him vits and cal powder with crikets and give him fresh water and veg everyday and the temps are right in the tank. i was lookin at growth charts and they said he should be alot bigger. should i worry bout this or can it be natural. i'm not sure if it is a male or female yet. any suggestions from ya's.....thanks a mil. rob

We just got a baby pinktoe tarantula from a friend and I just want to know everything I should know about caring for it because I want it to be happy and comfortable of course.

Its got a humid home, and they told us to feel it about 2 small crickets a week.

its still a baby, im guessing because right now its actually pink and its toes are black.

is there anything else I should know about caring for it, cleaning its house? or anything else I should do to make it more comfortable?

I bought my iguana on February 1, 2007 and have been giving him collard greens, mustard greens, brocolli, mango, banana, and green beans. He has not ate or drank anything since I got him and he just lays in one spot in his cage opening and closing his eyes now and then. He is approximately 18 inches from nose to tip of tail. Any suggestions on how to get him to eat?
