I have a Russian Tortoise which I love very much. My mom thinks I am a little crazy because I am always talking and carrying him, but I really feel that he actually like the attention. Do you think he can see me or am I some type of blur or shadow to him? I feel like he can see me or knows who I am, cause every time I walk pass his cage(tank) he picks his head up real high like if he is giving me the signal to pick him up, so I do. I would really like to know what he could see, so if you have any info please share it?

We have a Russian Tortoise, and my 13 year old daughter is constantly carring him in her laps with a blanket like a little baby. He seems to be okay with it, but is it healthy for him, can he get sick from her always carrying him?

Philip, the iguana is young and was not well taken care of previously so i took him in, but his skin on top is turning black. He also has multiple white-ish bumps on him. He eats all his food, but I don't think he drinks water cuz his bowl is always full. I have a black light in his cage that I leave on all day for heat and his cage is right next to th window so he gets sun. I've never had an iguana...please help!

I have two turtles, they are red eared sliders or painted, I'm not sure which. Anyway, I have had one for about two years, and he is about 2.5 inches wide. My other one, I have had him for about a year and he is only an inch wide, tops. I have a reptile tank for them, its about a foot or more long and 8 inches wide. The water level is about 2-3 inches. I havegravel on the bottom and a stone frog. I just bought a floating dock which takes up a lot of room, but it floats so I had to raise the water level, which gets me to about 3 inches. The little turtle will not get on it and the big wedged under it and under the rocks and I am not sure why. With the higher water level, will my little turtle be alright? He didn't swim up to the surface to eat last night. I don't have a filter, but I do clean it every week.
