I know I won't be able to know "his" exact age, but a good guesstimate would be nice. He is about 21-23 inches long, defiantly no more than 23 in. The pets tore owner said she had just gotten them in and were "babies". But I’ve had a baby BP before, and it was a lot smaller. Thanks!

she is a Red eared Slider. I have recently added mealworms to her diet and chop them up in about 1 cm slices. My turtle is 3 years old and this is the first time she has tried them. They look the same shap as her pellets but still won't eat them. Will feeding them in a bowl on land help because now I am just dropping them into the water like her normal food.

I rescued a turtle, but I didnt have a lot of money to spend on him. Long story short, he's in a 75 gallon tank with a ghetto tank stand made out of a reinforced book case. I'm afraid of putting too much weight on the stand, so I dont want to pile on rocks to make land. Is there something lightweight I can use????? Any ideas? I was thinking of using styrofoam and putting a small layer of rocks on top to keep it from floating. Is this a good idea????

we have a storm coming (I live in Virginia) and may lose power. The snake's heat lamp plugs into an outlet and she would die without any heat for a whole night. Usually, you're supposed to hold them when the power goes out to supply them with body heat, but she just ate yesterday and you're not supposed to hold them for a couple days after they eat or they could regurgitate the mouse. I'm looking around for battery powered heat lamps today, but I don't know of any pet store that carries them. I'm thinking about using one of my mom's ThermaCare heat wraps that are supposed to stay hot for 8 hours to wrap around one side of the bottom of the tank, but I don't know if that would be enough. how can I keep my baby warm???

Anyone have one? I've been doing research on them lately and I really think I want one. I want to see what they're real appearence is in person though, not just by pictures. But i'm not sure where i'll be able to find them. Anyone know where you'd buy these specific ones? NOT a dwarf frog! I live around the Dallas, Tx area but I don't know of any places that sell these frogs. Only snakes, lizards, turtles, fish, etc. Or just cats, dogs. They forget about the frogs :(
