Is the watertank warm enough? They will not eat if it is cold as they cannot digest food unless their bodies are at a certain temp. Also try freeze dried shrimp for turtles from the pet store, they love them!

They wont digest food if they are going into hibernation. If you keep the temps up they wont go into hibernation. You can get a submersible water heater($15- $20) and if not already a heating lamp.

If you don't have uva/uvb light you may want to get one too for their calcium intake. My turtle has been eating pellets since we got him and every now and than a meal worm.

The time you turn the lights on and off are important it is their artificial sun and if it is off they will be confused when to sleep.

The turtles may be sick as well. Make sure you clean the tank with a net and the filter isn't clogged with algee.

This time of year, it may be that the tank temps are getting too cold, and/or the lighting is too short of a day.

Try boosting temps to 75-85, basking site 90-95, and offering a 10 hour day. Ideally the lighting will also include UV-B rays.

Lill' green turtles are carnivores and herbbivores stick to the pellets to reduce the risk of Salmonellia G /D for yourself.
fix TWO living habitats a dry one and wet one. Squished/cripled flys (without bug spray) and live mealworms in the dry box and pettets in the wet. keep the Heat down to 70 if you can in the dry box .. let the light/sun in on the wet beach. turtles do not eat every day . keep perfumes/strong oders away from habitat.

you need to make sure the water temp is about 72-75 degrees and there baskign area around 90. also make sure you have a heat lamp and a UVB/UVA light. Try some romain lettuce(regular lettuce has no value to them) and get a couple feeder guppies or rosies. dont feed them gold fish, there very fatty and have alot of bones.

It sounds like your turtles are dehydrated. A turtle's intake of water is through lush vegetation. If it's not too late, you might want to try some crisp lettuce for them to forage. Hopefully, it'll get them out of the slump.

If you do not go yo a vet urgently, your turtle can die !
TURTLES EAT A LOT, WHEN THEY ARE HEALTLY !

They need uva ( 12 hs a day ), calcium, vitamin A, a correct food too.....

If they are water turtles they need to eat snails, worms, fishes, etc....You need a water heater and clean the water !

If they are box turtles, they need to eat vegies, grass, etc...

Both of them need calcium, vitamin A, uva, a hot place to avoid pulmonia !

sure, it style of feels that snails are the intermediate host for gobs of parasites. i might in all probability enable maximum of my elementary species of turtles to proceed to consume the snails. yet a pair of times a 300 and sixty 5 days i might ask my vet to ascertain the turtles (extremely in the event that they lost weight) alongside with a "fecal flotation try." Any annoying-to-replace or threatened species I save, might in no way consume snails. wish that facilitates ya.
