Corn snakes are garbage.
I must say I have been bitten 5 times by my 3 corn snakes (total) but not 1 TIME by my ball python. Coincidence ???? i dont think so, IF you read studies on temperment, by FAR balls are much more dormant than corns. this is just my opinion. Whats urs ? Dont act stupid or start insulting I Will remove your post, so act mature, and keep it clean, I WANT FACTS

I have a box turtle that i saved from a riding mower about 15 years ago and he really hasn't grown much, although he is very happy and very active. I give him plenty of water, a UV light, I spray down his box with water for the humidity and I keep him in a see-through plastic box next to a window so he really enjoys looking outside and seeing all the traffic and people (i live in NJ). The one problem I have with him is that he doesn't eat much or often. He refuses to eat daily and only takes a couple bites of food if I feed him twice a week. Also, he broke a small part of the bottom of his beak years ago, but seems to be ok, although it might be causing him a problem with tearing food. He also seems to only want to eat turkey breast and cheese and refuses to eat any live or dead food or fruits/veggies. I am trying to break him of this, any suggestions? He is about the size of my closed fist btw, so not "tiny" but I think he should be bigger.

I had a snake with black saddles from head to toe. It was about 2 foot long. The head was very narrow like an arrow head. Does anyone know anything about snakes in Louisiana?

They are in spring water in a plastic container on a warm heating pad under a spectrum lighted lamp. They stop eating and die in 2-19 days.

Does anyone know where the actual video of Steve Irwin's death is?
I don't want to be weird but I just want to see the video. Some people say they haven't released it and won't unless his wife and family say its ok. I just want to get a straight answer. I have seen a 15 second video that claims to be "the video" but I blieve its not. Can any one help me?

When we bought our snake the store told us 1 pinky is all they feed 2 times a week.(barly keeps him alive) He ate 3 pinky mice the second day after we got him. Now we've had him for four months and he is quite content with 3-4 pinkys twice a week or even 3 fuzzies(little hair) per week some times twice a week.

He's already grown to his 20 gallon aquarium. He litteraly goes from end to end and back again. That is how long he is. He has shed 3 times know.

We were told by a breeder that they can eat as much as you give them and you should feed twice a week. We know shedding is normal and it's OK.
MY QUESTIONS ARE:
1) Is there such a term as over feeding when it comes to Florida King snakes?
2) He's shed once every month, is that to much??
We are not trying to force him to eat sometimes it's like he's looking for more when he's done with the 3 fuzzies.

I have a red eared slider and his tank gets really nasty really quickly. I change the water every 2 days, probably. is that normal? Also, I don't have gravel at the bottom because he was eating it. What kind of filter should I be using? I have an internal one that sticks to the side of the tank but doesn't seem to be doing its job that well. Also, my turtle never basks! He is always in the water. Is that ok? I just want to make sure he has a good habitat! Thanks!
