Does anyone know where the actual video of Steve Irwin's death is?
I don't want to be weird but I just want to see the video. Some people say they haven't released it and won't unless his wife and family say its ok. I just want to get a straight answer. I have seen a 15 second video that claims to be "the video" but I blieve its not. Can any one help me?

As morbid as it is it is still part of human nature to be curious. People always rubber neck when they see a car wreck on the side of the road and this is no different. You are not weird unless you are disrespectful, which I'm sure that you aren't. I was very fond of Steve Irwin and grieve for him and for his family. I want to see the tape leading up to his death, but don't want to see the actual attack. I don't think the tape will ever or should be released. It is such a private thing when someone dies and the family shouldn't have to relive his death over and over thru the internet or media.

Steve Irwin Dead Video

Eventually, it will be released. i do belive, even though it is death, Irwin created so much for the Public to become in love with his family and morals. Now everything has a beginning, and an end. Unfortunatly this has a tragic ending, that no one in the public will know about for a VERY LONG TIME. I think the least his family can do for the public , is to release it, so we can all GREIVE together. I know that not ONE person would laugh or criticize it.

I am not sure that Steve Irwin would care whether or not the video was shown. I can understand his wife not wanting to see it, however, I would if I were her. Sharing a death is one of the most intimate things we experience-Steve shared his life, the birth of his children, his passion with the camera and the public. Would sharing his death be that far fetched?

I mean no disrespect to SI or his family-just stating my opinion.

The video will never be released. Anything that you have seen is a fake. I understand your fascination to see it. However, just think about how you would feel if it was a friend or family member of yours.

Please show some respect to Steve and his family.

The video is a very personal thing. I don't feel that it should be shown. Steve was my biggest hero. I have enough respect for his family to hope it is never released. There is nothing to be gained by showing the video, except for the pain of those around him. If you clicked on the video on limewire, you probably got a good virus tha'ts just waiting to kill your computer.

His wife, Terri did an interview with Barbara Walters shortly after his death. She said that not only would the location of his remains be released to the public, but neither would the video of his death. She hasn't seen it, and doesn't want to, and she will not release it for public viewing.

His wife said that the tape won't be shown to the public at all, like ever. I think if it was the real deal, the media would be making a big deal about it.
