60- 100!?!?!? nooooooooo... it'll choke ur beardie and it wont digest. I say about 14 crickets MOST. Make sure its BABY crickets or else ur beardie might gag. Also, try to give ur beardie another smaller tank for feeding, crickets like to hide under cloth and wood. Dont put all the crickets at once, beardies will get REALLY annoyed with all the crickets jumping around.
Good Luck!

hi there
ummm i don't know where u getting ur info from but if a baby ate that it would be like u eating 300 lg pizza's or plates of food a day... it's more like 1-3 a feeding 3 times a day ... breeder of bearded dragons and other types of reptiles... i have a total of 14 babies right now and i drop 2 -4 (pinheads)1/4-1/2 crickets in for each beardie 3 times a day ... they are only a week old....how old is ur baby bearded ??? some only eat 1 some eat 4 depending on how old they are... i have green veggies down every other day finely chopped ...that's if they are under a month old if it's older then usually a little more but only enough that they can eat in one feeding then try taking out the reminder of the crickets ... only leave a max or 1-2 cricket in the tank anymore will stress the baby out...but what u may of read is they go through that many in one day do to they usually have multiples babies from different clutches

1-2 Months 3/8" crickets twice a day (vitamin/mineral supplemented for 1st feeding). Finely chopped kale & chopped frozen mixed vegies, thawed every other day.

2-4 Months 1/2" crickets twice a day (vitamin/mineral supplemented for 1st feeding every other day). Finely chopped kale, mustard greens, collards, bok choy, romaine, squash) and finely chopped mixed vegies every other day.

hope this helps you....

Umm... are you sure it didn't say SIX to TEN crickets? Not even a fully grown beardie can eat 60! His stomach would explode!

A hatchling beardie should eat about SIX to TEN crickets per day, no more than that or he'll get sick.

yes, re-check your resource. you should offer him 2-3 of the small variety crickets a couple of times a day with finely chopped romaine, carrots, PEELED grapes (no skin, he'll choke) - be sure to make water available, a heat rock, two light sources (uv and incandescent), logs and plants to climb on and hide in. Bearded's are extremely human oriented - be sure to interact with him daily, hold him, let him climb on you. He may be small and fragile now and your interaction with him should grow as he does - mine is very healthy and a beautiful 2 1/2 year old male. Good luck - they are wonderful pets.
