hi there
depending on what kind of lizard u are thinking of...did alot of research on alot of reptiles over the years....iguana's eat nothing but veggies and fruits... most lizards eat crickets and/or veggies and fruits ... where others are strictly meat eaters... like monitors....

you need to reasearch the pet full for at least a month before purchase. you need to fully understand the care, lifespan ,and food that needs to be given. do not trust petstores as they can usually lead you in the wong direction. do not take shortcuts or cut corners. understand that you woud need uv lighting, heating and a large amount of space for some species. you have to buy the pet to care for it and not for the novelty of it.
