I had a frog that I named Herbert. I named him this simply because he kept telling me that. He was a pretty interesting frog. I would see him on my porch every night when I worked thrid shift, and every morning he would be waiting for me when I got home. Now I have a Lizzard I named Harold. He would be called harry , but he is a bit self conucious about his lack of hair.

If your tree frog will come when called, I think you should name him Bob. Otherwise, if he doesn't come when called, you should not name him.
