I think the southern ring-neck is very cute. I fished one out of my pool (alive) and I thought it was a baby. I asked on answers and found out what it was - and at 10 inches it was full grown. Pretty little creature.

Some snakes have that requirement needed to be "cute" in that they can be funny looking, have vibrant colorations, or their shyness seems to bring about a level of sensitivity that reptiles aren't known for. Other snakes do not belong in the "cuteness" stage in that they are simply too big, too drag, or aggressive. In this case, they can be gorgeous or majestic if they are large. Intriguing if they are well camouflaged. And difficult or "a bit of a challenge" when they are very aggressive.
Snakes are interesting animals and can not be compared to mammals. Snakes are something completely different and unique.
--- Also, snake food can be quite cute too...although a bit short-lived.

I think some snakes are quite beautiful, but I would never own one the thought of putting a live mouse or something in there for the snake to eat just would make me so sad, and I find it repulsive.

They're adorable! I love snakes. They're my favourite animal by far. I have two, and I'm getting a third in the New Year.

I do, I love snakes. People who decide that they "hate snakes" when they've never even seen a snake should give them a chance, because they really are fascinating creatures.

I think one of the cutest things I ever saw was the first clutch of ball pythons I ever bred when the were just hatching and barely sticking their noses out of their eggs. It was so cool to see them poke their heads out, then get scared at a clutch mate moving around and draw them back in, then flick their tongues for a few seconds and start slowly coming back out.
Out of my first clutch I only hatched 3 out of six eggs--2 were infertile "wax" eggs and one didn't ever hatch for whatever reason. The three hatchlings were all females. Their mother was a very light ball with a lot of yellow and their dad was average, and the three little "princesses" all took after mom. For a joke I put pink hearts wrapping paper on the outside of the back of their tank and put a pink waterdish in and painted their hide box pink. Kids got a kick out of seeing them in their "Barbie" cage. They made 3 of the daughters of members of the herp club I belonged to very happy little girls when each took her little "princess" home.

isn't it humorous how the snake is so sacred to Pagans/Occultists, as a instructor and healer? Ditto with the Dragon? yet a defenseless, senseless, slavish, animal (lamb/sheep), who's herded with the help of its slave-carry close... I recommend.. Shepherd.. is linked with Jewsus?
