Hi I bought a golden gecko on December 26, and the pet store that I bought him from said that he was a kind of Gecko to be held and loved and stuff. But today December 29 I go to feed him and he woun't eat. I have been holding like a million times a day. And I went onto the web to see why he isn't eating and I read that Golden Geckos don't like to be held and they will go into stress easily and die if you hold them. So what should I do becasue the pet store gave me false information. He hasn't eaten in 3 days. I need some advice. Please!!

Anyone know what i can do to treat him so that he has a more rounded shape?
He is 1 year and 3 months old - 2ft in length and 3 1/2cm wide at his widest part. I use to feed him one small adult mouse a week up till last week, when i read that a triangular body shape in ball pythons indicates the animal is underweightt. So I fed him a large adult mouse the other day and he managed to eat it with no significant lump in his body after he swallowed it. Should i keep feeding him large adult mice ounce a week, and will this help him acquire a healthier body weight? Or should i switch him over to rats? Also, what does the skin hanging off of his body indicate? Please Help!

I have a water turtle...I don't know what kind but he eats the little pellet thingys and I tryed feeding him fish (the pet store told me I should) and he wouldn't eat it.
Now the pet store is telling me it is because I needed to get the bigger fish because they can't catch the small ones...
Does any of this sound like they know what they are talking about? Or should I keep feeding him pellets?

A guy down the road called me to come take a look at his iguana. Apparently it had fallen or was dropped and it was dragging its back legs. It is about a 16 inches or so long. I have a large red tail boa on a live yucci plant in my living room that hasn't been fed yet this week. Would it be relatively safe to feed it to him instead of just letting it die?

I bought a pair of turtles today in Chinatown, and I want to know what kind they are so I can take good care of them.

They're VERY small, about the size of a half dollar, and the lady said they won't grow to be any bigger. They are green with yellow stripes on their skin and red spots on the sides of their faces. The shells are also green and swirly and have a thin yellow line around the edge. The bottom of the shells are yellow with swirly black spots.

I'd say their shells are about 1 and a half inches wide. I'm babysitting them for my friend and might actually keep them for life. However, her instructions weren't as specific as the ones on petco.com. A link to a website with a concise article will do. Thanks!

We just got our first bearded dragon. We have a great set-up. Propre lighting , H2O, greens, crickets and pellets. I have Checked alot of sites but nothing that talks about the eyes. Oz is Eating well. But one eye stays shut most of the time. When he does open it, it does not appear to be ozzing or infected. Bad eye Bill --as his new name ? or is this cause for worry? PS. could the fact that my sons Jam out to Green Day maxed out causing this.
Just kidding.

I've noticed that my Russian tortoise sometimes wags his tail while he is walking. Is this normal and does he do it cause he is excited? I usually let him walk around in the house, but my mom tripped out when she saw him walking and his little tail was wagging side to side like a dog. She thinks maybe something is wrong with him since he doesn't do it all the time. Do you think she is right, is something wrong with my tortoise?
