Well to keep your turtle safe they eat in a large box so there isnt any spoiled food in his habitat unless you are feeding it fish! :)You put the turtle in a box and you give it romaine,strawberries,carrots,crickets,and mealworms. You can get more info about turtles at www.austinsturtlepage.com

Water turtles eat in the water and Land Turtles (Tortoises) eat on land.

True tortoises and a few land-loving species eat on dry land, but most turtles eat in the water.

In fact, most turtles CANNOT eat on dry land!

turtle eat in the water .. they eat fish, worms, bugs and vegetation ...we 2 have RES turtles and many other reptiles and did alot of research over the years....unless it's a land turtle then they eat on land ....and they eat only veggies and they are called tortoises
