I just got him neutered, and picked him up about an hour ago, is it normal for him to be a little anti-social?
He tried to jump into his cage right after he got home, but he didn't notice it was still closed, so he kinda did a face plant into the gate.. i think the drugs still have not worn off, but he is usually very affectionate and always licking me, he won't even touch his carrot that i just gave him, will this behavior go away soon?

http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/19113211/ has an article on it. I was just wondering what everyones thoughts were on it. I think that in theory it is a good idea because there are too many dogs that don't have homes and will be put down- it is super sad. But I don't think that this will work....how would they ever enforce it

I was petting my little guy today (he's 7wks old) and he kept nipping at my fingers and fingernails. He would play this cute little game with me where I would stroke one side of his face/cheek and he would purr and relax and then turn to the other side and do the same thing every once in a while. However, I just wanted to make sure the nipping wasn't because he was upset or did not like the petting. I had been squeezing lemons for lemonade beforehand so I'm HOPING he smelled it on my fingers and was just curious. He's just wayy more playful than his brother, lol.

My friend asked me if i wanted a kitten, they were going to put him in the pound or watever if i didnt take him cause they couldnt keep him...so obviously i said okay...hes way too cute to resist and i couldnt do that to any animal..the thing is as of now i live with my mom (im 19 and i have a job) we already have 2 cats..she doesnt want another one just because she thinks she will have to pay for everything which is not true but refuses to even talk or listen about getting a kitten...SO because i didnt have the heart to say no i took the cat bought everything he needed..hes in my room and i really dont like hiding things from my mom..but i know once she finds out or i tell her she will think i decieved her and i dont want that..but she wont listen to me and i cant give the cat away.

What should i do?
how should i tell her?
when should i tell her?

How many dogs are too many to have? I currently have 3 dogs, 2 cats, some fish, & 2 reptiles. My son wants another dog. Is that making a pack too big?

If any organization helps protect the rights of "Animal owners", and the right to own, and breed animals / pets, please add your info. I'm attempting to compile a resource list.

Be sure to include the name of your organization, location, and website. If no website is available, a short "mission statement" and contact info would be helpful.

Organizations can be from the federal level, down to local chapters. Include all animals from household pets (dogs - cats) to exotics.... and everything in between.
No membership to small or to large.

Looking to make this the ultimate resource list.

Email privately if desired.

Thank You in advance for your time and effort.

We are staying on my best friends farm for the summer and she has a mare that is about to foal. My seven year old loves the horses and helps out when possible with chores. If the mare has baby and my child wants to be there do you think she is too young? I know this may bring other questons but I know she will want to be there when a new baby shows up.

Just curious, but I put out food and water for the squirrels on my apartment balcony. I live on the 3rd floor and they jump over from a hanging tree branch and munch away from sun up to sun down, but I never see one stop by when it's dark.

Where do they go at night? and they don't eat at night?

The reason I'm confused is because I know that other similar animals like apossums, racoons, skunks and such are always seen more after dark than in the daytime, so I figure that is when they come out in search of food.

So, are my squirrels just so well fed that they don't have to bother?? LOL

Also, am I hurting the squirrels by feeding them? They aren't tame and they would never come up to me, but I do sit in my living room and watch them throughout the day stop by and have their fill of peanuts, corn, sunflower seeds, and bird seeds.....and water too. It's so cute to see them drinking out of the water dish....lol.

Thanks for any info you have.

ok my cat was chasin a bunny yesterday and the bunny wasnt hurt too bad but the cat picked it up again and its front right leg broke. when i got the cat in i saw the bunny couldnt move it could only limply jump foward. i put it in a cage in my basement and tried to let it calm down. i gave it 3 pieces of ripped lettuce leaf, 3 small bread pieces, and i just tried to feed it peanutbutter today, none worked that i saw. i also put a shallow water bowlthing in the cage near it. all the food n water is very close to the rabbit cus its bad for it to move its leg. basically i think i need to get a eye dropper and put milk in it because this rabbit looks young.
it also makes a motion where it puts its head up and foward a little and makes a small whisper noise, i thought it had to do with getting milk from the mother
i also cant give it a splint/brace for its arm now because i dont know what to use and all that.

what should i be doing

Thanks (I need to get this sorted before its too late!!!

Their tiny chihuahua keeps on crapping in my yard. It had 4 babies which means 4x the crap. A fence is out of the question because we can't afford it and the owner won't put one up. Talking to the neighbors, bad idea...why? Let just say they are not good understanding people. They sell illegal stuff...if you know what I mean!!! What can I do?
