If he is a he, I'd consider having him neutered. Then try to take things more slowly with him. Take time to build up the trust by hand feeding him.

If you only hand feed him, then he will begin to trust you enough to take food from you. From there, move slowly and start petting him.

Have patience and see about getting him neutered if he isn't already.

Just like some dogs and cats aren't friendly, neither are some rabbits. They can have very different temperaments. They are capable of being tame and can be affectionate, but it may not be in his personality to enjoy handling. Is he neutered? Neutering can decrease aggression and help bunnies calm down a lot.

That is sad. I had a floppy years ago. He was adorable and playful. Had him for a long time, since he was a baby. He died of a heart attack. I wonder if there's a rabbit whisperer. I now have a floppy dachshund.

What you do is sit or lay on the floor like wherever the bunny is dont move when he/she comes to snif you do that everyday for like 3wks to a month and you bunny will just come to you. That's how my bunny was now she jumps in my bed we play games, she lets me rub her and lays on my pillow at night with me plus give your bunny treats for doing thing good.

good luck :)

are you sure he isn't playing chase with you? he could be tasting the saltiness of your skin when he bites you. they don't like to be held. he just wants to run about. animals don't feel love -that's a human emotion and why we are not animals.

If he hasn't been neutered yet, I suggest you get that done.
