So I just bought a lionhead who seems to be about a few weeks old. And I have a dutch whos about 8 months old. I let them both out so they can get to know each other, but the dutch seems to keep wanting to get on it, and seems to be humping it. The wierd thing is, is that the dutch is neutered. If anyone has any idea how I'll be able to bond them, it'll be appreciated.
If not, do you think it would be alright if i let them both out at different times? I'd really like to keep the lionhead, im in love with it.

Please and thank you.

^.^

My 12 year old daughter has it in her mind to somehow acquire a pet mink. We have budgeted for her $200 to purchase a pet and $200 for cage, leash toys etc. We are pushing her toward something a little more traditional, like a chinchilla or prairie dog but she is throwing a fit for a mink! I don't even know where to get one.

We just got into the chicken business yesterday-lol. I have 12 hens and 1 rooster. How long do I need to keep them pinned up? When can I allow them to roam the yard? I live in the country and have a large area for them.

We just discovered a growth on our english spot rabbits cheek. It just came out of the blue. It feels pretty hard. He was doing well on Tuesday, being his normal self, no abnormal eating. Then yesterday, he started to act different and the growth had gotten bigger. We want to help him, but at the same time, we can't afford a vet visit. We are thinking about putting him to sleep, fearing that it may be cancerous or tumorous. Anyone have any other ideas of what it may be?

He caught the mouse that has been hiding out in our kitchen for weeks. Thank God it's finally caught (the mouse traps weren't working)! But what now? Should I be concerned about my cat getting diseases or passing them on to my family? And what if I can't find it?!? I know I saw him take it into the basement somewhere but it's a jungle down there. I don't really want to go digging around for a dead mouse, either!!!!

I know I want either a fish, hampster, rabbit or something small, that doesnt cost a lot of money. Plus I want to be able to play with it so It has to have a friendly presonality. And it has to get along with my 2 cats. I have had hampsters in the past and their OK i guess.

I used the "palpating" technique, and I felt a chain of blueberry-sized shapes in her abdomen. Her abdomen also felt much more "squishy" than the buck. I'm not experienced with palpating, so I don't know if I did it right...is she pregnant?

An aquaintance recently told me that if you have a note signed by your doctor saying that your pet helps promote your good health, apartments cannot discriminate against you in your application even if they are not pet-friendly. My mom also said she met a woman that lives in a non-pet-friendly apartment and has a small dog with the same paper. Does anyone know what this document might be called and how to go about finding it?
