Revolution, Frontline Top Spot, Frontline-Plus, Frontline Spray, and Advantage are all safe for use on ferrets.
Revolution is effective against fleas and ticks as well as ear mites, sarcoptic (skin) mites, and also prevents heartworms.
Frontline is effective against fleas, ticks, and ear mites.
Advantage is only effective against fleas.
Only the cat/kitten versions of these products should be used. Products made for dogs/puppies should never be used on a ferret.

That is not necessary and most likely will harm the ferret. Marshall's makes a Flea and Tick treatment and it is available at just about any pet store. The product works very well. I sell ferrets and the product. I own ferrets and have used the product also. Be sure to follow the precautionary statements on the label before using on the animal.
