I like setting my rabbit loose in the house, but she chews on a lot of things, including elecrical wires. Any way I can prevent this?

My rabbits mouth has a sore/cut, about dime size on the bottom of her chin, and shes an only rabbit. Today i looked in her mouth and her top tooth has curled backwards...! I feel so bad, please help!

My cat is sick once again, she is in pain, and unfortunately I cannot afford a vet bill of $800.oo dollars again. Should I try and wait out what ever is wrong with her, or go to the emergency vet and have her put down. I am just so upset, I don't like to see any animal in distress.

My wild rabbit ,that i resqued from my cat trying to kill it, it all of a sudden cant walk, or stand. It seems semi paralized, but he can move every part of his body, tail, legs/arms, mouth, nose, ears, but his head seems to just bob there. and he cant stand by himself.

The law has made great leaps when it comes to traditional pets, even making dog fight a federal offense. But pets are still seen as property. When they are hurt, neglected and even killed...the offender gets a fine or minimal jail time. Anyone who has and loved a pet, knows that they are another family member. Yet their considered no more then a piece of property?

I have a mini earliped bunny. he is a small bunny. somehow he always breaks his nail and only his thumbs because they are placeds lower than the rest four and he starts bleeding. what is causing this? is he doing it himself? is it getting caught somwhere? should I clip that one shorter than the others?

1. He'd prefer a low-odor pet.
2. He cant have any reptiles.

I've tried to give him some basic ideas of which pet he might like, but hes very torn between some fish, a small mammal, and a dog.

hey there!

I have a 2 year old (approx.) lionhead male rabbit and for the last week he's stopped eating his food. he always would finish his food up and leave the bowl dry! and he doesn't drink much water either, but he'll sometimes eat some carrot. He is also not interested with his treats that he usually gobbles up in no time!
So we were worried and started force feeding him through a syringe - a combo of his normal pellets and water blended. and when we did that he pooped which is a good sign cuz he also wasn't pooping!
we think he may have ingested some paper or maybe a hairball....
his behaviour is normal he acts how he usually does the only thing is he has no interest in his food :(
I also tried putting his head in his food bowl but he just pushed away.

we also plan on taking him to a vet if this continues...so anyone know if this stage will pass or what???

I want to get a turtle. I am using a old fish tank that is maybe 10 or 15 gallons (maybe smaller). Will this amount of space supply a happy turtle? What species is best for this amount of space? Any other pet suggestions? I can only use this tank.

does anyone here own emus? are they good animals just for pets. my family has a large farm with llamas,horses,goats,sheep,rabbits,ect.. but will emus be ok with llamas?what are there down sides?
