My male guinea pig, Gus, is losing his hair in patches from 1/4 inch to two inches. he now has three patches, one on both of his back legs, one on the top and there in a new spot that is beginning to bald. I have had guinea him for three years now so he is not a young sprite. i have tried lotions, anti-fungal cream, and bactine once and awhile, but it doesn't seem to help. he does like to groom is back legs a lot and Hera, my dominant female, grooms him too. is this over-grooming, diet, fungus, or some sort of flea, tick, mite or whatever?

Today a dog ripped my lambs stomach open. My dad went out there to sew it up. Now, we are wondering if any of you know if she will live. She was dripping blood so we think that she might have internal injuries. She will not move one of her back legs. We think she does not have her teets anymore. We are scared. When my rabbit did poop it was kind of watery. Diorriah. I dont want her to get sick because i already had one pass away. So why is she doing diarriah? Please help i dont want her to get sick that would be terrible. Thanks all

I haven't seen any other fleas since it but my cat has lots of flea dirt on him (thats what I have heard it called..I think its flea poop). Whatever the case may be..is it possible the cat had one flea and that is case closed. Is this flea dirt something bad besides just being dirty. Whats the deal here? My cat is an inside cat so this flea must have just snuck in on a shoe or something. What do I do give him a bath (which should be tons of fun)?

We are thinking of adopting a Brinle pitbull at 8-9 months of age and she is so cute but the only thing I worry about is the fact that pitbulls have a bad reputation of attacking owners, neighbors or kids.She seems to get along with kids and other dogs and cats at this point, but I can't get over the fact that they have a bad reputation.

I wonder if the operation to spay and neuter pets is similar to operations made on humans. Humans can still enjoy sexual relations after the operation. But I noticed pets are no longer interested, or is my observation not correct?

Whenever people say they feed beneful everyones like NO I FEED INNOVA OR CANIDAE. are you trying to brag about how you spent so much money on it. For peed sake from what i've seen,beneful is a great food. It has veggies like carrots,peas,and yummy sweet corn. and it has real meat,and also it has soy which i heard has lots of protein
.dogs love it, Whats wrong with that?NOTHING are you guys just full of yourselves. are you trying to make yourselves feel good?

I just bought a ferret not even two days ago and from the second i brought her home she's had this brown/dark greenish somewhat runny bowel movements. At first i thought it might be the stress of coming to a new place, so i bought her some duck soup and tried to feed it to her. She ate just a little bit and then threw-up afterwards. I'm going to take her to the emergency vet because i am really concerned. My question is since i just bought her what exactly does the marshall guarantee cover??? i knew she might get sick one day but i didn't think it would be this soon! i hope my girl is ok.

or something liek that. Cow/buffalo in my farm has hurt her back and can't stand up. Vet assumed it has broken its back but we are just seeing if condition improves in few days.

we have given her painkiller injections. wtelse can be done?

i am a breeder
and we have breeded my one male rabbit , cassie three times
and we havent breed him in a while
about a monht ago
i noticed
his teeth were overlappiing
and were realy messed up
and his eye is all like runny
we took him to the vet he got his teeth clipped and the one tooth just fell out
then she gave a drops for his eyes
the runny eye comes and goes
the a few weeks ago i noticed he started to get a runny nose
he one tooth grow back and there still crooked
were gunna take him back to the vet soon.
i ran out of eye drops for him.
he is a lionhead rabbit. he lives with 2 other rabbits
he's two sons out of alot
dippen and dot:D

Do you know what my rabbit casey has?
can he get better?
its been a few months know.

my hamster is around 2 1/2 years old, she is a 4 inch RUSSIAN HAMSTER, and its been like 5 days since her belly is big and hard, and every once in a while she leaves a little drop of blood...at first i thought she was in her "days"...but its not stopping, its been like a week now, and i dont know what it is.....im worried but also aware shes old......
