Oohh, IKNOW!!!

A colt is a baby horse, MALE.Most people call all baby horses foals(no gender)

A pony is a SMALLER horse, but should NOT be confused with a MINIATURE HORSE whice is NOT the same thing. A pony can be as tall as 14hands(er, um, a hand is 4in do the math) Most childern can ride a pony, a MINIATURE is only a little bigger than a mastif(no riding, but good for a cart)

A colt is a young, male horse, usually under the age of three. A pony is a small horse usually under 14h high. They are proportioned differently from full size horses, and are also not the same thing as a miniature horse. Famous breeds include the Shetland pony, and the American pony.

A colt is a young male horse and a pony is a pony...a actual breed. So you could have a colt pony which would be a young male pony or a colt horse which would be a young male horse (larger breed than a pony)

A colt is a (male) young horse, who will mature into a horse, about the size of his parents.
A filly is a young (female) horse, who like the the colt will mature into a horse about the size of her parents.
Refers to size:
