I work odd hours so I cannot be around for all the attention a dog would need plus I live in an apartment.

I'm allergic to cats and have asthma. I grew up around cats and was fine but when I left home, I developed the allergy. When I go home, I'm stuffed up for a few days but then I'm fine. But I don't want to risk bringing a kitty home and not being able to keep it if I get sick.

Rodents and reptiles gross me out. What else is there to choose from?

A group insurance policy might be less expensive
than an individual policy. Probably cap the maximun
yearly payout at $3000. per employee irregardless
of the number of pets a person has. Maybe add a $20.
co-pay per vet. visit.

Last year I moved far away from my home town because my fiance and I were getting an apartment together and finally getting married but then he lied to me about some things and I ended up calling off our four year relationship because I knew he just wasn't the type of man I could trust to be the father of my children, anyway I had a good job in the area and a nice apartment so I stayed up here while in the process of graduating high school (online adult highschool program) I graduated and then I looked into college. I found my dream school (the Vet Tech Institute) and it happened to be near my home town so I applied and was accepted...the semester was supposed to start October 1st but even with my counselor's help, I still couldn't find a place to live, a job, transportation, or enough financial aid to go there...I thought about pushing my start date back a semester but I still wouldn't have the money by Feb, so I dropped out of the program and now I don't know what to do...

Long story short, my son got a ferret from his dad. The ferret was terribly neglected in a divorce situation while it stayed at his dad's house. (My son and I live out of state 8hrs away). So the dad demands we take the ferret with us, we did and this poor thing is so emaciated. He had cat food in his pen.

We brought him outside to play and he wobbles on the back end. I am hoping this is either a normal ferret thing, or it is from lack of muscling due to being cooped up in his cage. Not sure.

So yesterday, the day after we get the ferret home, I spent $120 dollars on supplies and feed and bedding and cage and harness and treats and blah blah blah.

The feed I got has high taurine, he has a water bottle, his cage isn't real huge about 3 ft by 1.5ft, but the ferret only stays in it during work hours, he is out with my son playing except sleeping times.

He appeared to eat all the food I gave him last night, I am hoping he isn't hiding it in his bedding.

Yes, monkeys can be cute, cuddly, mischievous, and above all the funniest type of animals we ever see. Monkey's for what I know are the primates of human beings. Are monkeys (such as capuchins, lemurs, chimpanzees, ect.) considered to be pets like cats, dogs, birds, rats, guinea pigs, rabbits, fish, ect.? Explan, why or why not.

What would you do to that person if you knew you would never get caught? I'm not talking about someone hunting an animal for food...I'm talking about malicious torture...

Banfield Vets diagnosed my cat with "kidney failure" during a routine blood exam for a dental cleaning. He seemed perfectly healthy and active before. They then said he would need more exams, all which would cost over $600. I'm currently trying to find a trustworthy vet in my area. But my family and I have noticed that my cat has started looking tired and sick AFTER the twelve hours that they held him to give him "blood tests" and a "urinalysis." This was 5 days ago and he's still acting tired and strange. He was also unusually clingy the day after and now startles easily, like when someone suddenly walks into the room, which he has NEVER done before. Since the diagnosis I've read numerous horror stories about Banfield and am wondering if they would actually DO SOMETHING INTENTIONALLY to sicken my pet and if anyone has ever experienced this with Banfield or another vet? And is it medically possible to ruin a cat's kidneys or health with an injection or some other way?

I am looking forward to getting a Maltipoo as I have just moved into a bigger house with a garden. I love all animals and have always wanted a dog of my own. I am from a family of dog lovers and we always kept Standard Poodles. My boyfriend thinks it is crazy to dress pets. I agree to a certain extent, a dog is a pet (almost like a baby) not a doll. I wouldn't put it's hair in bows or get matching outfits or anything. Surely there is nothing wrong with a T-Shirt and a going out coat for the winter though? What do you think?
