why dont you just put a chain on a pest controller and walk him around

NO ..that would be cruel.......
just buy a Venus Fly Trap Plant...it will catch insects and probably live longer than a Praying Mantis will

I agree, the praying mantis would NOT like that, in fact it would probably be so scared it wouldn't eat anything even if it came across something tasty.
