Animals are so kute and they can comfort u.I just don't understand it.Please help me understand it.

Why do people give up babies for adoption?
Much the same reasoning, boiling down to: It's better for the animal/baby. Seems like a way to get the best out of a potentially bad situation.....

Because sometimes people cannot physically or financially care for them anymore, or are forced to give them away beacuse they must move to a place where pets aren't allowed.
Think of an elderly person that must go into a nursing home; I've yet to see any facility that permits pets.
Giving that animal away in that case is giving it a chance to continue a happy life with another loving owner.

Because they can't feed them. So instead of starving them they give them away. There are some people out there that are not home enough so the animal is not getting any attention and they also give them up for that reason. People don't realize what they need and have to do with the animal when they first get them and then relize it and have to give them up. But they need to stop and think first.

Animals require time, work, and sometimes open space. Sometimes people will have a life changing event that is beyond anybody’s control. This prevents them from meeting the needs of that animal. It is wonderful if the animal finds a loving home. In the past, we have received dogs in this situation.

So many reasons, but the biggest one is probably that people don't realize how much work it takes to own an animal.
It is also not cheap.

You never hear of people giving rich animals away. It must be prejudice!

mainly wild one s they have are given away or just thown out that is why its very bad to have wild ones cuase they cna't go back to the wild sme people are too old and have to give them away its very seldom do they do this for anyother reasn but its done for sure.

They probably can't afford to care for them properly, with food, medicine, vet bills, etc.
