hi my horse constantly moves his lip around and rubs it against me.. he also does this when were walking but he will slow down and do that all up my back and shoulders.. or he will put his head over my shoulder and do that to my hands or face.
I'm just wondering if this is his way of searching for food, trying to be annoying, or just being playful or something. what does it mean?

I am not stupid- I know that pets do not NEED clothing. I have a 2 year old, small dog that I love dearly and take very good care of, and yes, I occasionally put clothing on her. It's not cruelty nor is it hurting the pets in any way.

Yes, it is sometimes done for the owner's own entertainment but that doesn't make them a bad or irresponsible pet owner. There are also positive reasons for pets wearing clothing such as, it keeps their fur from getting dirty, it keeps them warm if they are small, and it makes them stand out more.

So, what do people get so irate about it? It's not that big of a deal- lighten up!

I know that meat is a great choice but what kind?? Hamburger, chicken, pork, lunch meat? Also is their anything else that is great for ferret treats. I live in the boon-docks and i dont have a pet store within 60 miles. So I would rather give him treats that are healthy from my local grocery store. Any ideas? Thanks in advance!!!

My dog loves beer. I usually have to put him away when friends come over to drink unless he's just warn out.

It all started when he was jumping all over my guests and a girl leaned over to pet him and and spilled some beer. My dog sniffed it and started lapping it up. He always wants beer now I'm taking him to the park today.

I was curious about this after something I saw with my new kitten. I already had a dog, and the two seem to get along very well. They seem to like to chase each other around the house and yard. I know my dog likes it because her tail is always wagging when they play this game.

But I noticed today that right before they start chasing each other they "size each other up" by staring at each other. My dog's tail was wagging, but I noticed the cat's tail was also wagging. I was wondering if this is a sign that the cat likes the game or if tail-wagging means something different for cats.

I have never seen the cat's tail wag at any other time (even when I'm feeding her or petting her and so on). I just want to be sure she is just playing and not scared of my dog (which is nearly twice the kitten's size). Thanks to everyone on help with this, she is my first cat.

Shouldn't we all? There would be no show on Animal Planet showing the horrible things "people" do to poor helpless animals!
