Recently my hubby and I were getting ready to go to a fancy dress party, while we were putting on all the clobber our 5 yr old German shepherd decided this was a great time to escape ( still dont know how he did it ) into our very posh housing estate where everybody thinks we are a bit out of place as it is, anyway.. on discovering his dissapearance my hubby had to run around the street shouting for the dog whilst all our neighbours kids were watching and laughing, you see he was dressed as a nun in red fishnet stockings and workmens boots! Storm ( our dog ) waited until everybody had seen him and then came lolloping back of his own accord all happy and wagging his tail, I think he was enjoying daddys humiliation!

oh yes - once my dog appeared to be very ill - so much so he couldn't seem to stand up or take water. Eventually as I was really worried I called the vet and it was arranged that I could take my dog, who now seemed worse, into the surgery but as it was a Sunday there would be a call out fee. I agreed and took him in. He got into the treatment room and you have never seen a more miraculous recovery - running around, jumping on the examination table the works! Seems he may have had a tummy ache so he was given some painkillersa and anti infammatories - but I have never been so embarrased! but at least he was ok so no harm done!

For the first month when I got my Bengal kitten she didn't like being left alone in the house so I would take her on a harness up the street to buy the paper or the groceries.
One day I decided to pick her up as the path by the shops was quite hot. She decided to hang onto my strapless top and accidentally pulled it down in front of people.
To say I was embarrassed is an understatement!

My rainbow lorikeet enjoys rolling down my neck and straight down my top and mucking around (I'm a girl...). >_> It's very embarrissing when he does it in front of other people and I'm trying to pull him out and he doesn't want to come out.... lol.
He also goes to the toilet all over the place, which doesn't worry me at all, I always have tissues handy, but visitors who aren't use to birds think that it's a bit gross.
Oh yes, and when we had our Beagle, she use to pee in excitement all over the floor when we took her to the vets and when we picked her up from holiday dog boarding.
And on my German Shepherd's X Border Collie's very first day of obediance training, she attacked the toy poodle next to her, grabbing its throat and all! We dragged her off and the trainer tied her up outside of the room for the rest of the lesson. The poodle was not harmed, just a bit shaken up and my mum gave the poodle's owner a hug because she got such a scare and was crying. The trainer said that in all her years of dog training, this was the first time a dog had ever attacked another dog. Our dog had to wear a muzzle for the rest of the lessons. If that's not embarrissing, I don't know what is!

When I was younger I was invited to the local Hunt, I'm not really for or against hunting, so I don't wish to get into any argument with anyone. But anyway... a Hunts Meet is a pretty posh/snobbish afair... and the horse I had at the time, he wasn't a rude horse but was very food orientated! So as you can imagine when the cake and port came round, my horse swiped the tray out of this poor lady's arms! I was only 17, hadn't been riding all that long and it was my first Hunts meet. As you might expect, I wasn't invited back for a while.

Kingston is a big baby and he's afraid of people and gets nervous around them. Whenever someone reaches down to say hello to him he starts whining and backing away. It's cute but it's embarrassing LOL and there was one time that we were walking around a dog park and he just stopped and wouldn't walk past a couple sitting on a bench because they made him nervous or something.. He stood there for a long time (I just kept walking) and got pretty far behind me and he's a total velcro dog so it was so unlike him.. I had to go drag him LOL And with Lacy and Gaz.. they're still puppies. Lacy pees EVERYWHERE when she gets excited. She wants to say hello to every person that walks by and when they bend over and say hi to her- PEE EVERYWHERE lol.. And Gaz pees submissively.. If I bend down to pick her up or yell, she's pees everywhere. I think she was abused before we got her. So yeah.. I've been peed on several times.

When I got my Border Collie pup I did the responsible thing and took him for obedience training. After a few weeks he was doing really well until he decided to use my leg as a tree and urinated all down me. I saw the funny side of it eventually, but it was quite embarrassing at the time.

Yes. My dog stopped in the middle of the road while we were crossing it and did some explosive diarrhea. It was so bad I couldn't stop him and carry on but it was impossible to clear it up so I just had to wait for him to finish in front of the traffic and then take him home.
Poor thing was pretty ill for a few days afterwards but it really was so embarrassing.

We lived on a 17acre property,we never ever got door to door salesmen, godly people or ticket sellers because you wouldn,t know there was a house on the property. One day we were doing a bit of gardening when the dogs started to bark, the next thing a car was coming up the driveway. When the lady got out of the car to speak to us,my blue healer jumped in her car with mud flying everywhere straight over the front seats into the back then out, then she run up to the elderly lady stuck her nose up her dress had a good old sniff then ran off.We were trying to keep straight faces while finding out who she was,she worked for the blue nurses and was looking for donations,we told her we only had a $50 so if she had change fine. She told us she would come back in a little while, never seen her again.(my dog was just trying to be friendly.)
