get a pet scorpion and keep it in my dorm room, and emperor scorpion, in a tank about 5-10 gallon. I've see kids, with hamster, mice, rats and lizards. I have the space, and if need, to hide on short notice I have a trunk in my room, that I can place it in. I've thought about this for a while now, and I think this is the best fit for me.

We're are technically only allowed fish, but seen as to what other have.

It seems that just about every dog attack that we read or hear about was caused by pit bulls (and their negligent owners). Should this breed of dog be outlawed as a pet? Why don't we hear about German shepherd or Doberman attacks. There are probably just as many negligent owners of these dogs as well.

My great Uncle has recently bought both of these. He keeps them together, in the same cage because they have similar names. He believes they will grow up to be close friends. But at the moment they don't look best friends, i.e. the mongoose keeps biting the gooses butt - needless to say the goose was not amused. What should i do?

My baby bunnies are now 2.5 wks old and when I put carrots, cabbage leaves and apples in for Mum, they all have a good chew at them- and seem to be really enjoying it. I cant see the harm in this as they still suckle a lot from Mum? Is this ok?

I was shocked at a farm i visited, i was looking to buy a horse and found a couple farms will not have a horse in "condition" and an owner told me she doesn't like a Healthy looking horse, they tend to misbehave. Is there any nice looking, manageable horses out there, that have that sweeting loving personality that is "fit as a horse?"

My cousin swears cows don't get to the weight of half a ton. But, and I'm going by my memory, but at the Michigan State Fair about 10-11 years ago, I witnessed the birth of a calf about 400 lbs (I think it was that weight) from a cow that weighed 1,000 lb (that weight I am positive of). Am I going crazy? Please tell me my cousin is wrong. Thank you, Dee

I just saw that there is another, about the size of small kittens.I leave a bowl of water outside because it has been so hot this week.I have seen one inside, after our cats food.I thought I could keep them outside with a bowl of leftover food, chicken and grapes.I know, get a screen door...
But,is it bad to feed these little guys?I looked on line and rabies is really not a worry in this area.We live in Vence,CA..lots of squirells and racoons here too.My cat,Sinbad, seems very disinterested in them and they with him. Thanks in advance,G.C.

I really like these two breeds of rabbits. Can someone give me some info on the personalities or traits of these? If I purchase them as babies, can I house them together? can I keep them inside? or house train them? any good links would be great, thanks

I have a brother sister pair of ferrets of about 2 years old. Both of them sleep all night and almost all day, when we bring them out to play the boy lays around on the carpet or grass or wherever we bring them out and sometimes looks around or walks around for a minute but then lays back down n yawns a lot and just relaxes and when the girl is out she is non stop moving and digging if outside and jumping on everthing and after a couple hours shes tired and then we put them back in the cage and they sleep like theyve never slept. The female seems to get her exercise but the male gets none and everyone says ferrets are really hyper.

I have just aquired custody of a two year old cow. He's possibly the most precious thing i've ever seen in my lifetime, but I have no idea how to take care of a cow. I own a horse, and for now I can always take care of it the way I would my horse (as far as grooming) but any extra tips about care would be fabulous.

I'm facing a delicate situation where the poor thing is frail but still rather vital at times. At other times she seems ready to die where she is. She is 18.
