I really like these two breeds of rabbits. Can someone give me some info on the personalities or traits of these? If I purchase them as babies, can I house them together? can I keep them inside? or house train them? any good links would be great, thanks

Angora hair is extremely high maintenance. Just know, you have to brush it out EVERY DAY or it mats. It will also need clipping every so often.

Yes, babies will be good friends (usually, they have individual personalities, and you can have "conflicts", but it's rare). For best results, spay/neuter them. Adults can be territorial, especially males.

Rabbits do best as house pets. They can be litter box trained, like cats, and only caged when unsupervised/alone.

Look here for a great cage idea. It says guinea pigs, but it works well for bunnies too.

angoras are a very time consuming breed being their coat so first you need to consider how much time you have to dedicate to a bunny- I would recommend a lop for a beginner but with lops you have to beware of ear mites being the folded ears promote bacteria growth etc. In my preferences bucks (boy bunnies) are better pets then the females they are just more friendly and less hormonal my daughter had a couple of bucks we kept in the house and the only draw back was that boys have a bad habit of being messy when they tinkle but a corner litter pan in their hutch will cure it. litter training is easy you just watch to see what corner they use as potty and put a box in it. No rabbit should be left to it's own devices in the house there are way too many things for it to explore and they are naturally curious animal and will take a taste of most anything. Beware of the high amonia smell rabbits piddles produce and place the cage accordingly. Maybe go to the ARBA website and do some research they have some very good resources, maybe even attend a rabbit show and talk with some breeders and learn if you are truly interested in them before bringing them home as they aren't little for longer then 2-3 months at three months they're old enough to reproduce. I raise rabbits...Netherland Dwarfs and Mini Rexes. I have recently aquired a Netherland Dwarf Lop and I love her. She is a lot calmer than the other breeds and so darn cute with those floppy ears!
As far as caging them together. I usually keep them together for first few months and then seperate them. Males females make babies [duh], females & females often fight and males & males tend to "hump" eachother and lose interest in other females [& they need a lot of baths...].
A good Web site to check out is Rabbit References

Good luck with everything. No matter what you chose, you will love being a bunny parent.

i dont think bunnies are good pets. Who wants to spend their lives in a cage? Not me, and not them.
