hi my horse constantly moves his lip around and rubs it against me.. he also does this when were walking but he will slow down and do that all up my back and shoulders.. or he will put his head over my shoulder and do that to my hands or face.
I'm just wondering if this is his way of searching for food, trying to be annoying, or just being playful or something. what does it mean?

Most horses who want food will try to stick there muzzles in your pocket or hand. If your is moving his lip around you and it is not exactly near your hands he is either trying to play or trying to get your attention. My horse sorta does the same thing and whenever i start petting her she stops. So I figured she just wanted attention.
Hope it helps.

Watch how horses interact with each other, sounds like he thinks you need grooming, hahaha Really he may smell something he likes or he is just treating you like another horse. I don't think he wants to eat you but if he bites do something about it, like yell really loud or flick him, so he doesn't try it again. Getting bit can really hurt!
