We might move (to a NC) how do we move our pets? Our dog does not like our kitten.

Well, if you plan on having your kitten & dog live together, you have to work on them getting to like each other. Anyways, when you move them, the cat should be in a carrier, and out of the dog's reach anyways.

Well are you going to be driving? Drive them in the car with you, with the kitten in a carrying cage which you can purchase at the pet store. If you are flying, you'll have to get the right paperwork and carrying cases and fly the pets also. You need to check with the airlines well beforehand because they require notice and you have to have a vet check them within 48 hours of flying.

Have carriers for both of them or put your cat in a carrier.

It is not really that hard, especially if you are driving.

The safest is to put each in individual crates. you didn't say where you are moving from
