I don't know where this silly notion came from, but where I come from you cannot make a cow fall over. First off, most of them will not let you get near them, let alone push one over. Second, try pushing something over that weighs 900 to 1200 pounds. Good luck. They don't sleep standing up as some people beleive. So you can't sneak up on them & do it then either.

The dark of the moon. That way nobody will see you when you break both wrists trying to push over a 1,200 pound cow that won't budge.

2-3 a.m., the dogs are sleeping then, BUT why would you want to ? You will get your shoes dirty, oh well, go ahead, but you'd better wear some knickers and high waterproof boots.
