That is horrendous!!!! I knew that they eat dogs and cats there but, I did not know their "torture=good meat" policy. It makes me sick to think that these animals have to go through that. Thank you for making me aware of this and I will also pass this info along.

While the standards for what they have done are seriously lacking you have to take into account that that is a totally different culture and you can't judge it based on the standards of your own country which is entirely different. No we don't eat dogs here or cats but there are people who eat cow brains and tongues or beef in general that to most of the people in Inida is just wrong. While I don't agree with how its done or that it is done I feel it is wrong to be so ethnocentric that we are completely closed minded as a country. I won't ever eat a dog or cat and I will darn sure make sure I know what one is on the menu is I ever were to go there and that is the most that any of us can do since its not our country and they don't have the same rules/laws or feelings about it as we do.

yes there are countires that do this and i have seen quite a few but i forgot which ones do this they are still doing this in some places and in fact not too long ago walmart or kmart was selling coats that had dog fur on the collars on them from one of those countries doing stuff like that its very sad how lives don't mean much to them but that is third world countries for you. they dnt' even care for women and children either that is why we are having so much trouble with these people killing their own by putting boms and telling them lies about dying with god.

its really really horrible what there doing i could barely even look at those photos without being so thankful that my dogs are here with me and not in those cadges i really wish we could do something about it because its all the way in china and people always one person can make a difference but when it is their culture and what the believe in you cant change a thing

HORRIBLE! it's down right WRONG!
I have a abused dog that i bought! She is the MOST pretty thing you'd want too see! I LOVE HER WITH ALL MY HEART AND SOLE!
WHY? and HOW? do they get away with it!
It took my Brandi months ...but she is the HAPPIEST DOG I'VE EVER HAD!
Breaks my heart too think a human could have no heart too abuse such a poor Innocent thing!
IT just totally SICKENS ME!

These are OUR BABIES! OUR COMPANY......they are HUMAN too me!

not every country is America. yes they eat dos and cats in other countries. America is one of the few countries who treat pets better than most people. we are also one of the only countries that insects aren't one of our main food sources either. aren't you glad you live in a country where this is illegal.
