i always worry about if my pets will die and if its my fault or something like that.
it was just on my mind because my doggie (samone) is turning five and i hate to see her get older but my oldest pet (irish setter) is now 14!
it scares me that she will die

I wouldn't die without them, but I'd definitely be upset, especially if I lost all of them at once. I'd probably even go into a bit of a depression. I can't even think about losing my ferrets without shedding a tear or two. I love all my animals, but there's something about my ferrets that makes it harder to think about losing them.

I had a long letter written to you, but then lost it when I went to the pictures.
You love animals. That much is clear. I'm surprised you have ANY people friends!
I wouldn't die with my pet. I might make my pet die with me, to be sure she's not neglected or abused or unloved the rest of her life. I would make sure that custody of the pet is well known before I die, and if there's a problem with that, I'd have my cat euthanased and buried with me.
Texas A&M has anew nursing home for animals. The owner pays a hefty sum, and the school provides people to bond with the animals, carpeted areas with couches and all the amenities of home. The animal will be happy until they die. And they won't end up in the pound.
This one little apricot poodle named Ruby--her mom died and she was like 9 years old, none of the family wanted her so they gave her to the pound. I felt so bad because I know she'd been such a faithful companion to her mom for so many years and then mom dies, and she's in the pound. So sad.
I wouldn't die with my pets, but my pets might die with me.

I begged my parents for a dog for 3 years, and finally got one. Now I'm a senior and we still have Ellie, although she is now very old and weak. Honestly, she never liked me as much as my mom, but she is so important to me. I think when you know the time has come for your pet, it's easier to let go than when they die suddendly.

Ive only had fish, and i die when they die, like seriously you develop a bonding thing with them and its really sad when they leave us. But i couldnt imagine a cat or dog something major like that dying. UGh.
