Looks like you got good advice from most everyone.

It can be caused by diet or disease. Normally their are a few main causes:

Feeding greens, vegetables, or fruit...anything with a lot of carbohydrates or sugars can cause it.

Stress...moving the rabbit, changing feeds, etc

Coccidiosis...a disease normally more common in young rabbits and more prevalent during the summer. Normally it affects rabbits in solid cages more because it is partially a result of the rabbit eating its feces.

Unclean water...change your water regularly and keep the bowls and water clean. Doctor Terry Reed (a well known rabbit veterinarian) used to recommend adding 1 teaspoon of regular bleach to 1 gallon of rabbit drinking water to keep the bacteria in their drinking water down. You'll notice if you do that that the bowls won't get the green algae in them (green algae in the bowl is a sign of bacteria in the water/bowl). Be sure to use regular bleach, not the gel or scented stuff. For the concentrated bleach that states that you use only 3/4 a cup of bleach per load, only use 3/4 teaspoon per gallon. Most bleaches are concentrated now so I'd recommend using only 3/4 teaspoon per gallon.

Not enough fiber..feed it timothy hay, orchard grass hay or straw. That will add fiber to the rabbit's diet and help fight against diarrhea. A small handfull will do. Stick to narrow leave hays, not wide leaf hays like clover or alfalfa.

Diarrhea is never good for a rabbit. A rabbit can very quickly become ill. Rabbits have a very delicate balance in the digestive system. If that gets thrown off, the results can often be fatal.

I would start by removing the rabbit from pellets and treats. I would put the rabbit directly on hay. You want it to have as much fiber as possible. If that doesnt take care of it with a few hours, try a product called DryTail. It should be available at most pet stores.

Once you have the situation under control, gradually add pellets back to your rabbits diet.

There are many things that can cause this problem, so to come up with a reason is very difficult. I'd watch what your rabbit eats. Don't give too many treats. Make sure the food is fresh and not older than 30 days.

Good luck with your rabbit. Hope it gets better quickly!

Many factors can cause diarrhea in a rabbit anything from illness to diet. Are you feeding the rabbit lettuce or any other high water content veggie, or a pellet diet with corn? This can often cause loose droppings. If you are feeding a pellet only diet than I would recommend taking her to a vet as it may be a treatable illness. Be sure that you feed either a good quality hay and or a pellet. Be sure it does not have corn in it corn is not good for rabbits and can cause gi issues.

Perhaps it's the water...change it regularly.
